No. Islam is poison to scientific and technological progress. It means regression in all fields including medicine and will lead to increasing human suffering.

Religions are opium to keep masses sedated while a small theological elite increases their wealth and power. Something that the contemporary left seems to have forgotten about Marx's teachings. Modern left is brainwashed to hate only one religion and one alone that is christianity. A religion that ironically is the most compatible with leftists ideals.
