I think outside of the nuclear family is probably reasonably okay, as far as the chance of genetic fuckups go, although I'm not actually basing that on any kind of hard evidence. It used to be commonplace for like second cousins and shit to marry. I'd rather people do that than race mix, although a parent is definitely freakish, and I probably only personally don't find brother and sister to be super objectionable cause I've seen too much animu romanticizing it, and I don't have a sister of my own to know how disgusting it probably actually seems.
