I know what you are trying to say but that's not really it because there are plenty compassionate men(especially in this movement) but they just don't let compassion and emotion get in their way and cloud their judgment.They think rationally and ahead while women have a more emotional and quick response(might be their "mother" brain speaking).

It's often people who went through hardships in life that become conservative.

Women are protected since they are born. They aren't expected to make as much effort as men do. So parents send them to college and other things that are useless (atleast for a while) at a higher rate than men.
