With all the technological and social development that open borders and trade has given us since the end of WW2, why are so few people on /pol/ embracing globalization. There are of course some problems in our modern society that our ancestors did not have to deal with, but in all most people have a living standard that is unprecedented in human history. For example, people in the west now have easy access to both food and technological equipment from all over the world. I understand that people that are at a disadvantage want to protect what is theirs, but is protectionism and condemnation of the global arena really the answer?
