Portugal gets no where near as much recognition as other european countries despite major contributions to Western culture and innovation.

Yes actually. What really got me thinking was the lack of news coverage for the large wildfire in Portugal recently. They literally covered one building in London but not a wild fore visible from space. Pic related.
