Fun fact, the US LHA/LHD class of vessels are actually aircraft carriers as big as any that participated in ww2. We dont call them carriers for political reasons (11 carriers is enough, saying we have 20 aircraft carriers would just be excessive).

These small carriers do not use catapults, and would actually probably be better if we built them with ramps, but we didnt. We did not put ramps on them, because ramps are disgraceful.
