Best in no particular order

>Ancient Rome & Greece: founders of European culture, sciences and government
>Iberians: conquerors over Islam, spreaders of Christianity, explorers and first global empire
>Italians: Renaissance, greatest minds in Europe.
>U.K.: Brought the world into the modern area through industrialization, gave birth to the most powerful nation the world has known.
>France: Hugely influential in the fields of medicine and government.

Worst

>Germany: Gave us Communism, constantly warring with other Europeans, autism, furry central and managed to single-handedly upturn thousands of years of mutual hatred of Jews in Europe on its head by giving us Hitler. Allowing the Jews to have an excuse to extort money from Europe and instill hatred for nationalism within its populace.

The country which created Occident is Greece. So let's do this logically.

1-Greece (For the philosophy and democracy)
2-Roman Empire (hugely influenced by Greece)
3-France and Germany at the same level. (France is a latin country created by a germanic king Clovis) (Germany or the germanic area was ''latinized'' gradually after the fall of the Roman Empire)
4-United Kingdom (England was colonized by the french-norman nobility after 1066, it still have Germanic influences and Scotland, NIreland and Wales are celtic which is a plus)
5-China (Since -2000 BC, the Empire of the middle influences Asia)

The mongols spread the black plague which killed 1/3 of europe. Also conquered a large amount of land. The British the largest and one of the most influential empires to ever grace the plant also made USA, Canada and Australia. China invented gunpowder and paper. Greece invented democracy and lots of other things such as the alphabet and science technically. Germany Hitler with his Jew killing Karl Marx with communism the German empire. France napoleon and quitting every fight they particapte in. The USA killed communism and is currently the superpower of the world right now. The ottoman empire is arguable due to their conquering of Constantinople.

In the past Argentina was richer than most of Europe. Chile is a pretty solid country, Uruguay while small is pretty comfy. South Brazil, should split off from the rest imo, is pretty nice. Present day Argentina is alright, outside of Buenos Aires. Ecuador is pretty decent considering its size. Venezuela is a socialist hellhole today but in the past it was a pretty great country with a thriving economy and one of the largest beef producers in the world. Cuba use to be the jewel of the Spanish empire before shit hit the fan. Puerto Rico was unironically great in the 1970s-1980s. It wasn't until the socialist movement under Sila Calderon that it became a shithole. Mexico, despite the problem with the cartels, has a huge economy and is expected to continue to grow. Panama and Costa Rica aren't bad either.

Really, most of Latin America is fine. There are a handful of places that are Africa tier and they are all in central america.

1. Greeks because they formalized the sciences, the romans were religious barbarian cucks who stole they works from the Greek's and even burned some things that contradicted their religion

2. English the anglos created the best colonies in the western world, they also pioneered the modern sciences. I think that the English are the ones who have advanced civilization the most. Everyone always pushes for the "blonde perfection" meme but the truth is scandinavians have contributed very little and everyone just give them a break because they're more aesthetic.

3. Spaniards, being a beaner I may have some bias but the Spanish kingdom was the first to actually explore the western world with the purpose of expansion. Sure the Siberians and Nords came here first but they lacked organization and had different purposes for exploration. Without the documentation and navigation from Spanish explorers the English would of had a much harder time sailing and colonizing the western world. Also at the end of the day everyone gives shit to the Spanish about having bad colonies relative to the anglos but we were the better men since we didn't genocide the natives as much as the anglos did and attempted to live alongside them but at the end of the day it dragged the collective IQ of those countries down.

I never said there were better than British colonies. Although, you could argue they are better than some British colonies. It's not like every British colony was a success. Look at Africa and the middle east.

I said they were not as bad as the French, German, Italian or Belgian colonies.

FACT:
The history of the world has been shaped mostly by the West, and by its civilizations (Europe and America).
FACT:
Multiple countries and civilizations shaped the history of the west.
FACT:
The further we go in the past, the further the importance of a country and its people is felt. For instance: The US contibuted to shape the history of the world from the late XVII Century onwards. By comparison, however, relatively 'minor' country for the modern era, like Portugal, shaped the history of many more civilizations while interacting heavily with them (Reconquista, Spain, England, France, Age of Exploration)...

Then, logically, we have to go back in time to find the country that impacted the most other western civilizations AND it is as far in the past as possible.
At this point depends on our definition of country. Let's say we require some kind of government, social organization, laws, and territorial claims. So no 'wandering' tribes.

We now have an answer.
The country that shaped most the world history is....

TROY.

Yes, the fated Ilium.

That war at the end of the bronze age was the defining moment for the ancient Achean civilization, and it was to become part of the national spirit of both Greece and Rome. We do have proofs that there were cults of Aeneas in Italy since the early VII century, so it is also very likely that there is also more than a grain of truth in the legend of the birth of Alba Longa and Rome.

But everybody failed at Africa it's pointless to use them for the purpose of making comparisons between colonies. And the countries you're mentioning barely had any colonies besides those in Africa.

Only Britain and the Iberians had a shitload of colonies spanning multiple continents. The difference is that Britain and its colonies remained powerful and relevant while Spain and Portugal didn't last.

>For all we know, the Trojan war could have happened very differently from how the Illiad described it, as it was written about hundreds of years afterwards after one of the most abysmal dark ages in human history.

Sure, the facts of the war might have been different from those oral traditions 'collected and codified' by Homer. No duel between champions, and no wooden horse, likely.
And yet there is very little doubt that a city of Troy existed (actually, multiple ones) and were destroyed, and there is also little doubt that whatever conflict occurred, it shaped the history and the collective memory and ethos both for the Acheans and for classical Roman and Greeks alike.

You have to be really arrogant and proud to make such claims about the US.Obviously they are all great inventions but you just can't compare inventions that we created after our means of communication were invented (this is really hard to explain)
Obviously after the invention of writing and then the printing press, telephone and so on, sharing information became easier and faster.
What I mean to say is that the amount of inventions is not an indicative of high impact in the world.

By the way, it was Brazillians that genocided Indians and asked for African slaves to America and fucked both Amerindians and the Black woman. Fucking Brazil.

>Greeks did nothing for Rome's meteoric rise.
