I find it unlikely, but not impossible. Why? Because Roman empire lasted more than half millennia, and still some places (bretonia for example) weren't fully converted. Meanwhile, Ethnic groups literary evaporated under Slavs in less than 100-200 years with exception of you Romanians. And Romans had strong culture, mighty empire and all tools of cultural conversion. Honestly mate if you knew a little more about Poland you would show some respect instead of repeating stereotypical bs. Poland of course is a lot behind western Europe in certain areas but the culture and quality of the people are not among them. If you understood history you would know that Poland is not in a poor stay today not because of lack of intelligence and talent but because of politics. I just moved to the UK and some of my countrymen are behaving less than ideal but it's not easy to be an alien in a different country and most of the Poles in the UK are those that couldn't handle polish reality and create a good life for themselves for many different reasons but it means you almost never meet the best of polish people on the streets of UK. I'm half german and have to say that the Poles are no worse in any sense than Germans or English.
