Obviously not, just look at le american melting pot, every group self-segregates into their own little sub-cultural communities. The differences are never eliminated by culture. Genes trump culture every single time.

Yes. The idea will become popular when it eventually becomes the only way to avoid further conflict or when a powerful race (ie whites) are under serious threat of being displaced entirely in long-standing nations that we founded hundreds of years ago. Make no mistake, when whites are very close to actually becoming a minority in their own nations you will see A LOT of people waking up very quickly.

It wouldn't have to involve halting any and all interaction with the rest of the world, you could implement second class citizenship/guest status to nonwhites in the country. They could still work here when/if they're needed but they would be subject to laws that make it impossible for them to replace us.
