i started listening to Burzum long before I knew that Varg was on youtube. I even watched "Before the Light Takes Us" before I watch his channel.

By pure coincidence, the first video I watched of his was him talking about how we shouldn't want money and we should learn to live in a society without it or some shit. It turned me off so much that I didn't watch any more of his videos.

Every now and then, people link some of his videos here and I watch them, and like any man, he says things I like and things I disagree with.

Honestly, I found he has this sort of snobby mentality that punk rockers or metal heads have, of "Oh he's not punk rock enough" or "Oh he's not metal enough." For example, he was talking about when he used to live in Helvete, and some kids walked into the store wearing spikes, and they were super psyched to actually be talking to Varg, and Varg thought these kids were tools for wearing spikes. If I was a musician and these were my fans, I would understand that teenagers sometimes wear stupid shit, but oh well, I wouldn't make fun of them for it.
