Which is more plausible?

Islam and Christianity are meme viruses and nothing more. They are the most populous and last longing religions because they successfully exploited human psychology by pushing the right buttons. They were selected culturally in a manner uncanny to that of natural selection.

It's difficult for the exploited masses to leave viruses that have been allowed in the public sphere forever. All religion is bad for humanity, scientific inquiry should be the only thing that society looks upon for guidance. Also, you practically disproved all religions right now, it isn't even difficult.
