Regional threads are essential to increasing the board quality. They allow greater focus on real news (especially stories which aren't relevant to an intentional scale), actual politics (as opposed to meta garbage), and digging/research into the country's kikery that otherwise would be overlooked.
The phenomenon of globalisation is driven by America - hence we must remember that there is not only an over-representation of Ameriposters on this baord, but an American-centred cultural attitude.
To combat this - other nations (especially in Europe) must maintain their own general threads - not just Britain and Australia (though they are excellent examples to follow).
Even within America - there needs to be more regional generals (individual states makes sense if you have the numbers). Dixie/pol/ is an amazing start. Next we'll need to see Amerikaner/pol/ for The Midwest, and so on.
Let's come together and make /pol/ great again - through the chemo of regional threads.

But if we delve into local politics how will we ever uncuck Europe?

I think you missed the second paragraph.
>we
this board isn't just americans
Europeans focusing on their own local poltics in the number one (in fact; only) way to uncuck themselves.
americans would benefit from this too - especially considering how much power your state governments have.
so much policy and news is being missed because y'all have too widst a focus

You Australians really can't help yourselves, can you?
Here's the (you).
