Are they really different enough to be two separate countries? They would be more economically relevant together as well as militarily being stronger. Russia might leave them alone.

Pretty different. Latvians are Balto-Slavic so for language they'd have an easier time joining with Russia than Estonia.
I'd say Estonia should be annexed by Finland if it weren't for the problem that Finland is a horrible multiculti cuckland now.

They are 56% not russian

So, just deport all the Russians.
Problem solved.

they'd have about 6 people left between them
these are micronations with negative growth rates
Our languages and cultures are different and we want our independence. I love Latvia, we've been together with them through thick and thin and we've been brothers forever, but to unify with them would just cause problems, our governments are corrupt and shitty enough as is.

First of all, these languages belong to two completely different families. Latvian belongs to the Baltic branch of the Indo-European language family. Estonian belongs to the Mongolian branch, as does e.g. Finnish, Hungarian and several more. Not even Indo-European.

>Mongolian
The term is Finno-Ugric and Uralic, as our languages came from tribes that moved from the Ural mountains to here. But you are correct, Finnish, Estonian and Hungarian are different from most of Europe, as we are no Indo-European.
I don't know much about Estonia, but I got to work with Latvians while I was there for a few weeks. They worked hard to get their independence, I don't imagine they would want to lose their identity again.

Besides those 6 people, everyone in the Baltics is Russian?
You're an idiot, Ivan, and I know you were being hyperbolic.
