Listen up /pol/,
I know most of you favour some sort of autocratic government, whether on the left or the right. Unfortunately most countries are democracies, if somewhat flawed ones, and I was curious as to how we could fix them so all voices could be heard, even fans like you.
Wondering what systems you suggest, any innovations if you have them.
I think the single transferable vote works well, as well as the Schulze method (even if it's overly complicated).
I think the kiwis actually have it figured outbest with Mixed Member proportional however.
Thoughts?
Go with direct democracy like we got in Switzerland

Fuck this shit faggot no saving a system that's already fucked

E democracy is a good technical fix but the real problem lies in that the population is apathetic and uneducated on politics (especially geopolitical issues).
Their information comes from corporate media which is mostly trite nonsense meant to distract the viewer. This is why autocratic government is necessary in our era. As Socrates pointed out thousands of years ago all democracies devolve into oligarchy.

Democracy only works in extremely homogenous environments where women are largery dependent on men.

You fix this with articles in the constitution on media information and you fine those that don't vote
>>131563093
unenforceable without abandoning democracy in the first place
>>131563089
What the fuck does a voting system have to do with gender?

fag is as fag does

I think OP is focusing on voting systems to give everyone a voice since they happen to be around now,not how to save the system in general
>>131563093
Constitution won't be enforced by a corrupt system and forcing a fee would just force uneducated voting.

The problems with democracy aren't that it isn't efficient enough they are systematic due to the nature of the ideology and the societies it builds.
