LGBT threads in general are way too common. people claim that the issue is over represented by the mainstream media; yet the people who are constantly making LGBT threads on /pol/ are doing the exact same thing. I saw 4 threads at once about a pro gay youtube video. The threads are almost guaranteed to be low quality and there are infinite "stories" about the issue to use as fodder.

Fair enough if it's about laws like the one Canada has recently introduced, otherwise the sheer amount of threads has destroyed this board. There are other such topics but this is probably the worst one.

most of /pol/ like to think they are 'redpilled'. the truth is probably only 20% are.

being redpilled would mean being able to recognize slide/wedge issues, like the LGBT one for example. i.e. instead of thinking about the LGBT issue in this way, the new /pol/ has decided to become redpilled ON the issue, a slide issue (distraction from real politics). this is no different then how the media manipulates the general public.

to make my point more obvious, another example would be when someone makes a thread like:
