When will Trump and the rest of the American right-wing realize there is no saving coal? It's practically on death row and it's not coming back no matter what Trump and the GOP does. [1]
The entire coal industry employs less people than Arby's. Let that sink in. One fast food restaurant employs more people than an entire energy industry. [2] The free market has decided to ditch coal in favor of 100% renewable energy sources. [3] The demand for coal energy has reached a historical low and it's still getting lower! [4]

They already know this and don't care. As long as minorities are getting fucked over everything else is secondary. Carrier just announced they're moving 600 jobs to Mexico after Trump had a televised speech at the Carrier plant to tell them their jobs were safe, those same people are probably still going to vote for Trump.
Because this has never been about jobs, health care, the economy, it's all just a lie conservatives tell themselves to desperately bury the narrative that this has all really been about fucking over as many black/brown people as possible.
