German /pols are afraid to loose the election. In the last years the ruling parties never feared a loss of their power. Now they fear the upcoming rise of alt right parties. Because they fear to loose the elections in autumn k17, they need new voters. For the last couple of years, the ruling parties would have never accepted a gay marriage. But in the last couple of days everyone is open minded to everything. The 'government' will do this in many aspects to address more and more minority groups to vote for them. Its over my german fellows. We should better start learning arab.
