>The author of this international survey is the famous Hossein Askari , professor of international trade and international affairs at the American University George Washington. Assisted by his colleague Dr. Scheherazde S Rehman, the two researchers have achieved an international ranking of countries where the daily life is very similar to what the values of the Qur'an advocate in the political, economic and scientific fields. The aim was to measure the "Islamic index" of a country according to what it applies to justice, the fight against social inequalities, the weight of ethics in social relations, the Economic development and the spread of knowledge such as the Quran imagines in its recommendations and obligations.

>And surprisingly, this international survey proves that almost no Muslim country really lives in harmony with Muslim values in the many areas of life. Better still, countries such as Ireland, Sweden and Denmark are more Muslim than Algeria or Saudi Arabia if compared to their degree of loyalty to the values of Islam. Indeed, the first country that truly respects Muslim values is Ireland. It comes to the top of the podium in this international survey based on four major criteria: economic achievements, human and political rights, international relations and the structure of power in place. In the TOP 50 of the countries which are imbued with the values and principles of the Koran, we find only European countries like Germany, Belgium, Great Britain or Norway. Malaysia and Kuwait are the only Muslim countries that can find a place in this TOP 50 of the countries respecting the principles of the Koran. Malaysia is in 33rd place, ahead of Kuwait, which is positioned in the 42nd.


>Arab countries like Algeria are Muslims only by name, concludes this survey as the index of Islam relegates them to the last places of the international classification. Algeria only comes to the 131 place, Morocco 140, Egypt 128 and Saudi Arabia 91.
