It's a bit shit.

Sardinia, Capri, Sicily, Corsica or most places in the Caribbean are much nicer for an island holiday - some of the Croatian ones are alright too. Ibiza is fine if you're into nightclubs but if you're over 21 you'll find it irritating and it's a cultural void. I'd even consider Mykonos or somewhere like that over it.

Not quite as pump as Zante or Magaluf but it is still really poor compared to the above.

Food is crap like all Spanish food and the beaches are alright but if you want good beaches and money is no object then go to Uruguay or the Turks and Caicos, British Virgin Islands, Caymans, Maldives etc. Ibiza is fine if you want a cheap drinking holiday but for anything else you're in the wrong place.

Marbella and Ronda are pleasant and Madrid used to be great years ago, but if I wanted to go somewhere down that way I'd stick to Portugal.
