doesn't really look like much to me
>In 2010, Jane Sanders was president of the tiny Burlington College when she brokered a $10 million deal for the college to buy the last undeveloped parcel of land in Burlington on the Lake Champlain waterfront — 32 acres overlooking the lake and the 77,000-square-foot former orphanage and administrative offices of Vermont’s Roman Catholic Church, which needed the money to settle a series of priest sex abuse cases.
>At the time Jane Sanders, a longtime political adviser to her husband, promised the deal would be paid for with increases in enrollment from about 180 to 500 students and $2.7 million in donations. She left the college in 2011.
>In January 2016, Toensing filed a complaint with the Vermont office of the U.S. attorney and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. He alleged a loan used by the college to buy the land “involved the overstatement and misrepresentation of nearly $2 million ... in what were purported to be confirmed contributions and grants to the college.”
i was reading all the headlines and thinking it would be great to have more evidence of bernie being a crook but this seems like nothing.

Burnie's wife is probably in a lot of trouble, she almost definitely committed fraud.
Now, it begins to get interesting when you remember she was basically his campaign manager and involved in money handling...
No refunds remember. His whole family was on the payroll iirc.
Fbi, she would be in no trouble if comey was still around. Also loling at there being an orphanage next to a Catholic Church and there were priest sex issues.

They've been investigated before for funneling campaign funds to family members. I guess he's more of a jew than a socialist.

pumping the value of the college by 2M to get a loan would be pretty hard to pin down as fraud. the fbi would have to prove intent to defraud the bank to get a conviction. all she has to do is say "im an idiot and i thought the college was worth more than it actually was" and she's in the clear.
It doesn't seem like a big deal to me either, but it's more about the narrative.
>Sanders
>Lynch
>Clinton
>Everyone's under investigation EXCEPT for Trump
Yeah, Sanders doesn't have massive charges leveled against him and it's not an important news story, but it's a poke in the eye for the Russia conspiracists and that makes it funny.

totally. im still going to point out to people that sanders' wife is a crook and under fbi investigation for fraud
