Police are told that if they fear for their lives at any time during their duty, it is within their rights to use lethal force to end that fear. If for example a black teen, perhaps named Michael, high on drugs that just violently robbed a corner store, attacked a police officer resulting in life threatening injuries, the officer may chose to shoot him in self defense. And if the officers account was corroborated by 18 witnesses, he will not be guilty of a crime.

A hospital is a BUSINESS, not a philanthropic entity. They need to fill beds reliably or they shut down and people lose their jobs.

Move to a rural town (<1000 people) in a red state and I guarantee no one will give a fuck what you do.

I was hospitalized for meditating and was deemed "unresponsive" and when I said I "didn't hear or see anything that other people couldn't see or hear" the doctor said I was "lying" and deemed me psychotic. Was an indian doctor who barely spoke english. Literally because I chose not to say anything to EMS after someone had called 911 on me, I was forced on anti-psychotic drugs for two weeks straight. It made absolutely no sense, and I realized there was a giant monetary chain that ensures people who can't financially defend themselves get put through the system for $10,000.

Society sucks, and you really don't have any personal freedoms or space. If you want actual privacy, you basically have to buy an island, which is what many billionaires eventually do. Again, move to where the police, government, etc. don't have any MONEY, and they cannot afford to mess with people. If there is one sheriff, and the entire town's budget is $100,000 per year, they won't care what you eat etc.

In northern maine there are people living in turkey coops. If I were to do that further south, I would be sent to a mental institution for "self-neglect".
