A swing achieves it's height from the inertia it gathers from traveling downwards.
Social movements also require inertia- which must be developed through living through societal degradation.
Just as a swing cannot be pushed up before it had finished descending, neither can society.
The time to act is coming, but to act now would destroy the inertia that we require to achieve new heights.
