A bunch of protestants got together around 100 years ago and decided what Christianity was supposed to be.

They didn't have the authority to do any such thing but took it upon themselves to make it a laughingstock.

I used to be sort of a theistic evolution kind of person who said that evolution was directed by God but this is a pretty deep red pill
