Hello /pol/

I am a banker at a top 10 bank globally in a top 10 financial center. I won't disclose which but it's one of the biggest players

I'm here to offer my answers to any questions you may have. For the record, Hillary Clinton was a better candidate. Things are getting better, not worse. Financial services is a good industry that contributes to overall welfare.

Ask me anything. Please keep an open mind

Well, her policy proposals were rooted in economic logic as opposed to populist appeal. For instance, free trade has been shown to significantly improve productivity and quality of life on aggregate for all participants. The average american household has indeed seen real incomes rise, although growth has slightly lagged 'rich' growth. This could have been adjusted for with greater redistribution a la Clinton tax plan.

Trump's idea of supporting the 'poor' and those disadvantaged by globalization is unsustainable protectionism that makes products more expensive for consumers, makes companies less willing to invest, makes people less willing to innovate, etc.

On foreign policy, Clinton also wants to pursue detente with Iran and doesn't want to feed Zionist paranoia. She would've also helped bring more countries into America's sphere with TPP. She also would've maintained high levels of cooperation with our European allies, as opposed to isolating America like Trump has.

These are just some reasons. I'm not here to complain about 'racism' or any othe buzzword. Clinton's platform was just more logical. I suppose I should mention that I support gay rights, secularism, etc. but that is more normative than anything.

I'm actually pretty familiar with the race and intelligence literature. Works like Lynn's and Herrnstein's fail to adjust for socioeconomic factors, as well as environmental factors that impact development.

Differences in outcomes can largely be attributed to environmental factors, and that is generally the scientific consensus.

In the long run, even if there were a small variance in adjusted IQ among groups, as we gain understanding of the human brain and can start to modify parts of it that will become entirely irrelevant

There are secretive funds like Renaissance that do this; you'll never get in on that, so might as well buy the market and enjoy the ride. You'll probably do really well in the long-run anyway

>>
>>131474138
Have you ever thought about the fact that the average person doesn't care about money as much as you? Maybe they have no problem making slightly less money so long as they see their work as contributing to something greater than themselves?

People not liking globalism has nothing to do with profits. They don't like the idea of being interchangeable; it makes them feel small and powerless. Americans want America to put Americans first because who else is going to? Do you think the UN is going to make the lives of rural and suburban retards better when kids are starving in Africa? No, they are going to fuck them over in order to contribute to the "greater good."

Clinton was the logical choice when looking at the candidates from the perspective of an emotionless, psychopathic business executive. Trump won because he told the American people that he liked them and wanted to give them the opportunity to live a safe, fulfilling, happy life; and they ate that shit up. Yes, people want jobs and they want to be able to support themselves, but they want comfort more then wealth. They don't care about the optimal economic conditions so much as having the optimal conditions within which to spend what money they do make... They'd rather be blue collar workers living in a nice neighbourhood than a millionaire living beside a ghetto.
>>

Why are you and your buddies not dangling from trees? Today's financial institutions are a fucking scam and everyone knows it. There's finance to invest savings responsibly, then there's the (((Fed))) propping an asset bubble so kikes like you can slosh money around with high volume trading, making billions with low margins on the volume. You shmucks completely wrecked the lives of millions of Americans by investing their savings into fraudulent investment vehicles, and you all know it. You know what the top dogs are currently brewing in their cauldrons right now, too. The next MBS that will tank the economy again.

Trade is good for the little guy? Yeah right, say that to Flint, Oakland, Cleveland and other rust towns. Yeah, we're so much better off with shitty service sector jobs and the shitty plastic products we can get from Wal Mart. And the Chinese are so happy making pennies to make crap they will never get to use. Trade is good for you, goy!

>but that's where we need redistribution
Great, larger government and more bureaucracy to solve a kike problem.
How about we don't outsource our industry to double digit IQ shit skins, and employ our own people to begin with. But you don't care about that, because all kikes put numbers over people.

>why should I care about the white race?
Because we're real fucking close to terminating dual citizenship and deporting roaches like you to the sand dunes, Solomon.

>>131476860

I actually trade cryptos algorithmically on the side. I wouldn't invest in it long-term though since it's difficult to know which currencies will actually explode and which will be left by the wayside. If you could find a way to have a good diversified exposure to them (i.e by buying a weighted average and recalibrating every once in a while, like an ETF) then maybe it's an ok investment. Still way too risky for my tastes as a buy-and-hold, it's a fun trading opportunity because of the volatility though.

>>131476931

I would be fired instantly and never get a street job again, the most damage I could do is spilling coffee on an exec's shirt

>>131476950
>>131476953

Again... ask me anything, lol.

>>131477058

You actually have a point. I guess what I would have to say is, we need some way to analyze overall welfare and maximize it. If it offends some peoples' normative values, that's unfortunate. But at the end of the day, human beings as individuals are pretty disposable. Aggregates are what matters in policy.

That being said, human rights should be respected, ofc. But just because you don't like immigrants in America, for instance, doesn't mean that immigration should be banned.

Plus, I would argue that the majority of qualms people have with globalization can in some way be quantified and attack by policy; particularly stuff like inequality.

But policy just can't fix a harkening back to the 'old days' viewed through rose-tinted glasses, and attempts to do so harm everyone going forward.

Crypto currencies should be outlawed as ponzi schemes. They have literally nothing backing them besides potential growth. At least stocks imply that at some point dividends may be paid out and provide the "tangible" reassurance of partial ownership. No, crypto currencies rely solely on buy in to increase value. You get nothing for buying a bitcoin other than the opportunity to trick someone else into paying more for it than you did, and a group of fellow idiots helping you convince them that it is a "good investment." Shits worse than gold and silver in this regard since you don't even get a shiny paperweight to gawk at while waiting for its price to go up...

>>
>>131477236

>>131477236

Jesus fucking Christ, my man. Let's start off with the fundamentals. http://www.cityam.com/263446/financial-and-professional-services-industry-contributes

Financial services as an industry exist to enable capital to flow, fostering enterprise, innovation and helping build the economy and standards of living.

>Flint, etc.

Not the dire situation you think. People didn't get poorer - the richer just moved away as manufacturing was eroded. Overall unemployment is down in the United States, overall inflation-adjusted compensation is up for individuals (pic) and household (https://www.minneapolisfed.org/publications/the-region/where-has-all-the-income-gone) . There is a disparity between productivity growth and income growth but that's because of how the former has occurred recently (technology, globalization) - the post-ww2 growth in both productivity and equality was unsustainable. The solution to this is greater redistribution and inclusive institutions that enable all Americans to prosper from higher productivity. This was Clinton's entire shtick.

BTW your chinese penny items increase your overall purchasing power and the margins of all businesses, which reinvest and innovate for you. So next time you're talking shit on your iPhone remember that you only have that because of free trade.

>more bureaucracy

Actually there's ways to have a good redistributive scheme with less bureaucracy, such as a negative income tax.

>Hillary was shilling for all sorts of regime change as State Sec. She is 200% in bed with the Israel-Saudi side of the Islamic Cold War. Where the fuck did you get this "Iran Detente," other than your ass?

Well for one thing, she didn't call the Iranian nuclear deal 'the worst deal in history' like Trump did. If she followed through with Obama's foreign policy she could've taken steps towards moving Iran out of Russian influence and into American, making Israel safe and allowing America to focus on Saudi Arabia

I'm sorry to hear that, and obviously insofar as those concerns can be voiced as a metric like inequality or surveys of perceived well-being, policy will get around to fixing it. At least you can see plainly that consumers have access to a greater range of better products than ever before. Sometimes we forget how much the internet has improved our lives

But what makes you think things would be better under Trump? He is stopping new jobs from being created and people from advancing in the economy. He is appealing to people caught up in their old outdated jobs (mining coal) and not giving them a chance to retrain and be a part of a more modern economy.

it also fucks over the consumer when it comes to media and internet

NO ITS FUCKING NOT, everyone in healthcare will fucking tell you its not good unless theyre a fucking dumbass nurse or bleeding from the heart

the ACA fucked insurance companies but it also fucks the average consumer. We have higher premiums with less basic coverage. the lowest tiers are also shit coverage so what we got is a larger swell of people paying into a system thats failing and those insurance companies that were created to sustain this larger volume of individuals are going bankrupt because they cant sustain the base of people using the system that dont pay enough

everyone has to come to a realization that in our current era we cant save every person, we cant feed every person

not to mention the real problem was trying to limit the cost of drugs and the cost of hospital pricing on care which are ludicrous amounts

if you just fucking limited those youd make healthcare more affordable for the average individual while also not shitting on doctors or patients

It isn't the governments job to "maximize welfare." The government should be solely concerned with building roads; literal and figurative. They should be paving the "road to success" and not attempting to drive people down it...

People aren't looking back to ye'olden times with rose coloured glasses because they want to start lynching niggers again (maybe a small minority are, but not the average trump voter). They want to remove government interventionism from their day to day life, and see the governments of the past as closer to their ideal than the governments of today. They lack the ability to articulate this desire so they do what children do; they point to want they want and expect the adults to interpret their actions. Sadly, "the adults" in current society have their heads so far up their own asses that they fail miserably when attempting to understand these displays... And even worse, they scowled their kids for being "racist and bigoted..."

Simply put, the average voter is already struggling to make a comfortable life for themselves and they currently see the government as a hurdle in this process. They see the governments constant attempts to "make everything better" as meddling. Politicians should be focused on insuring that the streets are plowed, buses are running on time, and that the border is protected; they shouldn't, and currently don't, have the power to make utopia on earth. Making utopia is an individual endeavor; everyone makes their own, and they do it themselves.

You're a fucking LARPer. As someone who actually does investment banking, this advice is shit. Also, people in IB are good at IB. They tend to be pretty mediocre when it comes to understanding politics. Only people who are macro-oriented investors, traders, etc. have a decent idea of what they're talking about.

Not him, but you're retarded, most people in finance from what I know have a strong understanding and opinion of global political trends. You as an iBanker (which you obviously aren't) should know that seeing as iBanking technical interview questions often revolve around market conditions, recent events, etc.

Have you ever been on Medicaid?
>They will pay to pull your teeth

>They will not pay to cure you

Obamacare has been hailed as a great boon. But you know what the best part of Obamacare is?

>tfw you can afford the premium but not the co-pays

To give you some perspective, since you seem to think I'm some unwashed pleb, my father is a lawyer who makes six figures a year.

He earns less (absolute) than he did in the 80's.

I'm a paralegal because we couldn't afford to pay for a four year degree, much less a JD. And I was ineligible for more than $5,000/year of financial aid because of his income.

The average American doesn't have $500 in their bank account to pay for an unexpected expense. How do you think they pay for their deductibles?

The average American isn't putting a penny into a retirement fund and Social Security is going to have to make deep cuts long before any Millennial even gets their first payment.

At least my job is going to be one of the last ones to get replaced by robots. You could already be replaced by a quant's algorithm. Why aren't you? Who was your connection that got you a six figure job straight out of college?

OP demonstrates why the real problem isn't as vague as "the Jews" in general, but more specifically the ongoing replacement of America's WASP elite by a new Jewish elite. This began in the 1930s and is getting worse every decade. Unlike the Jewish elite, the WASP elite like OP can at least put forth their views in a reasonable, emotion-free, and even humble way, the result being that his arguments are more persuasive.

Compare this to the autistic screeching by idiots like Barbara Spectre or George Soros - how could any sane person want to touch their worldview with a ten foot pole? It's no wonder that rural and suburban retards dismiss the entirety of finance and trade as something inherently evil when these are their loudest spokespeople.

Yeah I agree - the ruling ideas of every age are always the ideas of the ruling class. The ruling class in the west are now rootless and now have a critical mass of Jews - that pretty much explains the callous disregard for whites, the middle class, state institutions like borders etc etc.

It really all comes down to the replacement of the WASP elite.

>I'm here to offer my answers to any questions you may have.

1. Are you actually conscious of the fact that you are a pathological money junkie -- someone that has utter disregard for the untold ills your mere presence in the invidious field/s you now larp to represent --
to say nothing of whatever insidious actions you may be directly partaking in...?

2. Do you in-ironically and earnestly believe that the continual, generational, inveterate engorging on the gruel of greed, at the trough of your one, true god--Mammon--by your mentally maladious ilk, will not incur a debt that your children and (if applicable) grandchildren will be held directly (by association) to account for -- perhaps being subjected to North Korean styled, lineal punitive action; your lineage and DNA wiped from the histories in the process...?

3. How aware are you of your addiction to dopamine -- elicited through the agency of wealth and power over those beneath you -- as the card-carrying, seemingly proud, acolyte of avarice you profess to be?

4. Why do you believe in the Zionists' ethereal "God/s", despite their conspicuous lack of presence?

5. Why do you not believe in (pic related) me -- the corporeal entity now communicating with you...?

I think it began when they started allowing Jews into their Masonic lodges and Ivy League schools. That's where a lot of misplaced trust was initially built. A hundred years ago, institutions like these were like modern day Davos/G20 conferences. A lot of influence was exchanged between high-ranking people whose decisions had major real-world consequences. Jewish membership in these elite schools and social clubs was rightfully limited by quotas. WASPs back then held no illusions about Jews being anything other than a rootless nepotistic cult, but they tolerated a handful of rich ones purely for business considerations.

That all began to change after WWII. The Jew began to be humanized as a result of the Soviet hoax of the Holocaust, and his influence in these elite Anglo-Saxon circles grew. The WASP elite progressively shifted towards a more globalist anti-White worldview at the same time as their numbers in these elite institutions were dwindling. By the 1980s, massive numbers of Soviet Jews arriving in the US via Israel (see the Soviet Aliyah) began to integrate themselves into the organized crime scene of New York and Los Angeles. They married into elite WASP families and in doing so, took up strategic positions in real estate and the media in these cities, largely completing the replacement.

Today, how many powerful WASPs can you name? The US President is an ethnic German Zionist, the British PM is a hook-nosed crypto, the PM of Canada is French, the Chairwoman of the Fed is a Jewess, there are NO WASPs left on the Supreme Court, and of the largest US firms by market cap, Buffett and Darren Woods might be the only ones left.

Do you want to know why the world is falling apart? There's the real reason.
