tldr: Trudeau wants to make it so someone accused of sexual assault and ONLY sexual assault basically have to disclose any contact with the accuser in relation to the case. This is ridiculous because it has always been on the prosecution to prove any such relation or to find any correspondence that took place, essentially throwing out the notion of innocent until PROVEN guilty. This also appears to be influenced from the Jian Ghomeshi trial where all his accusers were lying harlots.

The accused should have no legal obligation to provide anything to hurt or help their own case, yet they would be compelled to here.
