It was the most durable empire in the history of mankind, it was a success in every aspect considering how multiethnicall and different it was culturally between the different states/tribes/lands that formed it. They managed to unite everyone in a single culture, gave them prosperity, relatively peace, considering everyone was killing each other constantly, and a purpose. They were the most advance civilization, whose art, politics, language and structures survive even thousands of years later.
