What makes someone white to you? For instance, often youd refer to arabs as non white, however studies show that half of the people in lebanon, mostly the people in North Lebanon are White Caucasians, yet many of you do not see them as white. Why is this the case. What is the concept of whiteness to you?

Most levantine arabs are not even ethnic arabs, they're just assimilated into arab language. Most of them are descended from pre-islamic ancestors.

>Ethnic Groups: Lebanon encompasses a great mix of cultures and ethnic groups which have been building up for more than 6000 years. Most of the Lebanese are descendants of the Phoenicians/Canaanites and/or West Aramaic (50-70%). The second largest ethnic group in Lebanon descends from Arabs (20-30%). Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Hebrews, Kurds, Persians and others form about (10-20%).
Lebanon is a mix of people but majority of them are descended from Phoenicians.
