Transportational cyclist here. I don't ride on narrow two lane roads with no shoulder. I stay on paths, side streets or main streets with bike lanes. It's the fastest and cheapest way to get around in my city. If you're going five miles or less, biking is far faster than driving, as you'll get blocked by congestion with a car and will have to hunt for a parking place.

Bicycle infrastructure is actually cheaper than public transit because there are no operating costs, only construction costs.

What I propose is not that driving be banned, but that it be restricted in correspondence to population density. Western European cities serve as an example of this. One can drive to the center, but not in the center - the streets are pedestrianized and only allow delivery vehicles.
You park once and then walk. Transportation becomes more car-oriented as population density dissipates toward the suburbs, although they too have centers where driving is restricted. Contrast this with the inefficient and wasteful North American model, where you waste time driving to multiple destinations within a couple of miles of each other due to the fact that the streets are unwalkable. They're in a bind because of the way the law has decided to treat them. Law says no biking on sidewalks. If there is a bike path, law (here) says they cannot exceed 20km/h on it. So they have to be on the road. The roads are often too narrow and have no shoulder to allow cyclists to make way for cars coming up behind them.

They have no excuse for being dicks but I do understand at least some of the frustration.

Likewise - in Portland during rush hour, the bicycle is the only means of getting anywhere fast. Taking public transit takes four times as long, and you have to deal with mentally ill zombie people and shit-tier blacks. Driving means running into serious choke points near the bridges and paying high prices for parking downtown. I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of roadies. They have a tendency to draft without my permission, which stresses me out. Also, taking the lane on a narrow two lane mountain road is dangerous. They aren't visible to cars rounding corners, and crossing a double yellow line to pass is extremely hazardous.

The point I'm trying to make in this thread is that bikes are appropriate for certain purposes, but not for others. They're excellent for short distances within moderately dense cities. They aren't a good mode of conveyance for narrow winding roads. They aren't a good mode of conveyance between cities. Cars are better for long distance travel between cities or in the suburbs.

What can that uber driver do about it? Nothing. He has to sit there and do nothing while this dude vandalizes his property. Awesome. I take my family biking regularly. We live in suburban/rural area and go to state parks for our biking activities. There are some lone bike riders that brave the highways in my neck of the woods, and it always looks dangerous. Besides, parks were created for those kinds of activities, biking should not mingle with automobiles...atleast in rural areas.

Dudes. Biking is a very redpilled hobby. mobility and fitness combines without having to depend on the petrolium jew. I know a couple bikers and they are the most conservative guys i know. They are actually redpilled without ever having cisited pol. They have many stories of impatient assholes killing their friends. Seriously a couple minutes out of your life isnt worth killing or endangering a biker. They are good people with families and children than are combining working out with transit. Next time you talk to a fag cyclist ask them these questions:
1) If your goal is to push your body and get excercise then why do you spend $5,000 on a bike that weighs next to nothing (which makes it easier)?
2) Why do cyclists use seats with no padding then put padding in their shorts instead?
