Clausewitz should be consigned to the trash heap of history for anyone actually observant. It's more an observation of idiotic European war traditions than actual philosophy. It's only applicable for a state which is already equal or greater to its enemy, in which case it's still an inefficient and attritionist way of using resources. Not to mention it's barely applicable for personal use. I'll take the word of the billionaire President over you, thank you very much.

The big push for the Orthodoxy Bible is that it contains the Greek Septuagint (considered the entire OT) as opposed to the Hebrew OT which had about 7 books removed. Additionally, (some) theologians argue that the Orthodox Church is part of the original Church of Christ as started in acts that later broke away from the corrupted Catholic Church. I would really only recommend it if you were considering Orthodoxy and an Orthodox church for worship.

I've read bits and pieces when looking for some first person accounts. The absolute madman went to a lot of lengths to compile this much information. It's crazy how some [me at least] take fascism to be a sort of reasonable reaction to economic upheaval of the late 1920's, and part of a broader issue within Germany. Shirer was writing about things like this in a time where there was just name-calling and lowball arguments being made.

I don't have money for this, I read too much to be able to afford all of these books

that said, I am currently reading pic related and Siddhartha.

One day, after I move and get my study set up I'll do a whole thread about it, but it'll take me a couple years or so to get put together, mostly because I'm building the book shelves myself, likely also my desk and table.

On and it's a "Living Study" meaning it is both a library and a pet room in one. It'll also serve as a game room but that's just once a week or so, not constant.

Codreanu is a brilliant writer. Even if you have no interest in the Iron Guard I would suggest reading it because Codreanu's writing is so inspirational.
His writing skills aside, the struggles Codreanu faced in the 1910s and 1920s as a young man are shocking similar to the struggles we face today. He too had to contend with the judenpresse, apathetic youth, leftist intrusion in universities, mass immigration, and traitorous politicians.
If I still haven't sold you on it, Codreanu was so red pilled in the spring of 1923 he predicted the rise of civic nationalism

The Incerto (Black Swan, Antifragile, etc) by NN Taleb. Taleb is probably one of the top ten smartest people alive today, and I don't say that lightly. His intellect is just off the charts AND he focused his attention on the study of randomness which is incredibly useful to understand at the individual AND societal level, so it should honestly be taught in secondary education along with a full year of statistics.

The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham is great, and it's the foundation that Buffett used to become crazy rich in the stock market. If you're still a debt peasant read The Richest Man in Babylon (free just duckduckgo it) and sort out your finances.

Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe will teach you more than you ever wanted to know about the biomechanics of your major muscle groups and help you build functional strength for the coming violence.

Not a book but something I'm planning to do is buy the biggest 4k TV I can find and download the highest resolution images of art from the Louvre and the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art and look at all the awesome art Western Civilization has produced. If any of you find yourselves in NYC with a few days free I recommend spending no less than 2, but 3 would be better, on just the Met.

Oh, I should also mention that if any of you are in New Orleans there's 6.5 great bookstores down there in the French Quarter full of used books, great way to spend a day if you don't mind getting weighed down with books by the end. It's where I picked up my physical copy of The Bell Curve. I say 6.5 bookstores because 6 are actual used bookstores and one is the Faulkner house bookstore which has some books of some rarity, but mostly it's new books. However it's still worth checking out because whereas most bookstores are 10% good books and 90% crap (like most everything), that bookstore is 90% EXCELLENT literature and only 10% or so liberal tripe pretending to be good, with almost no filler. It's where you'd send someone who knows nothing about literature to go buy you a gift because even if they chose at random, odds are very good you'd get a very nice piece of literature out of it.

If you're in the Portland are, Powell's House of Books is a fully city block, multiple floors, of used/new books and it's fantastic as well. I spent two full days in there when I visited and walked away with 30 or so books. I even found a very amateur printing of a book, more like a pamphlet, entitled "How to Launder Money" which was sealed in plastic and was selling for $60. I would have bought it but I didn't want to get flagged on a list somewhere with the IRS. That bookstore was also the only one I've seen that had a section on translation theory. I say had because I bought everything they had.

My dad gave this to me. Haven't finished it, but it makes a lot of basic points that are very important. Each chapter has a specific message which you get in the first few pages then it reinforces it into your mind going over it again and again. Did not read, but I did actually go to an academic talk by the author who was discussing the historical discoveries/analyses detailed in his book.
