Look, more rocks and weeds. I wonder whats further on. It's okay that we don't have much water.
>people actually hike in the desert.

usually its Yankees or Canadians.
Your car has been sitting in the sun and the windows are completely up. It's been 2 days and your steering wheel is completely metal.
Choose your own adventure.

The heat really isn't bad if you are hydrated.

well at least two commiefornians died hiking too.
>119 in death valley
hmmmmmm almost like this happens every year. Fuck hiking in that shit though, it is smart to learn desert survival skills though, Californians are fucking dumb.
Dunno about burgerland, but here in Italy is ferkin hot this year. Little rain, and when it does the sun is so hot that temps don't even drop.
And you get sunburns even at late evening.
Hell I remember when I was a child I could play soccer throughout the day without any protection. If you do it now you'd be hospitalized for severe sunburns fo'sure.
I think it's a matter of UVA/B
>live in the most hated worst part of Texas
>was 109F on Wednesday
>is now a cool 90F today
You know you're used to the heat when 90F is considered "not that bad" compared to 109 fucking degrees

I own a black(ed) paint car and I just drape a towel over the steering wheel if I know I'm not going to drive it for a couple of days. Those windshield sun-visor-screens help, too.

>smart to learn desert survival skills
Desert survival skills are unbelievably brutal and you need something to collect moisture. Basically pointless, you're gonna die. Just bring as much water as you can.

I mean some things are a little less on the nose, like wearing loose light-colored clothing that may or may not have long sleeves (to cover from the sun), as well as wearing a hat and sunglasses
