We need big changes up here in Canada. like, REALLY big. I say we need 3 things. 1. We need the people to be the senate when it comes to large amounts of money, laws, and wars. We would have a senate still but they would be for bridges and such. If your wondering why, it's because it's a lot harder to brainwash the masses. 2. We need transparency on most politics. Read 1 and note that the senate can pass laws without anyone even hearing about it. 3. We need it to be illegal to say that media, schooling, exc. isn't politically charged when it is. This one is obvious, and it's a lot harder to brainwash people who are aware that brainwashing is happening. If these three criteria are met, freedom will be permanent in Canada, or at least a fuck ton harder to get rid of.

I think we can pull this off peacefully, but if it comes down to it, I am willing to defend myself with my rifle, but if I give them an example of violence they will latch onto it and ruin it.
