Now, I'm not going to call myself atheist, but I'm not a believer. I guess I'm agnostic. I really don't care. I respect that church helps bring people together and they help others in their community. That's fantastic.
My best friend's husband is a lector for his church, and is part of a number of his church organizations. That's fine and dandy. Recently, I saw something on the kitchen table called "The Lector's Workbook" or something along those lines. I looked thought it, and what I noticed was that all his speeches and lectures were pre-prepared. The verses he read, portions or stories he told, etc. It even had side notes describing inflection and tone, escalation of mood, etc. It even said "Use words like ____, _____, and ____ to give the feeling of uncertainty and fear." Holy shit. I at least respected preachers for being so dedicated to their craft that they can give daily speeches and speak about their passion, but if they have these fucking guidebooks, they they aren't even that. They are people who are being forced to control their local population by bringing them together through limited knowledge.
This shit normal?

I'm a Fundamental Baptist like Westboro.
I can assure you our services are unique. Youre talking about a cuckshed church like the Southern Baptist Convention or the fucking Anglicans.
