Tacos used to be only $1 at local taco trucks. Now they are $1.50. they even used to have 2 for $1 taco Tuesdays, which they no longer have. A burrito at a taco truck costs $5- when it used to only be $3.00 - 3.50..

$5 is a lot of money to pay for just a burrito from a truck, and no restaurant with refills and air conditioning to sit down inside. That's half the money I make in an hour.

They put a notice up that said prices on carne asada items would be going up because of a beef shortage. The price ended up going up on everything. Taquerias used to be for poor spics. They told Dish Network that they wanted more money for Dish to take the KCRA signal in through the over the air signal that they produce for free. Dish did not want to pay more money because it would mean asking subscribers for more money. They had to turn off KCRA because by law Hearst Communications can say what happens to the free over the air signal. People could still get this signal if they had an antenna themselves but most TVs do not support both cable and over the air modes. The blackout going on for 2 months until Dish caved and now subscribers have to pay $4 extra each for the same fucking thing. Hearst Communications does nothing new with the signal they just put it out like they normally do. They just decided they wanted more money because they are required by their shareholders to get more money even if it means just raising the prices for something they only control.
