Going to south west next month, im a little afraid of the radical leftist community in the bigger cities. pic related is skidrow in LA, i assume this is pretty much a no go zone as a white dude.

It depends a lot what part of LA you're going to be in. There are some seriously shitty parts. Even nice areas like Playa Vista are only minutes from shithole areas where crazy homeless people will try to bottle-stab you over $5 so they can get high.
