I told my very, very Democratic mother in January 2016 that Hillary Clinton was the only Democrat Trump could beat.

When Hillary won the nomination. Everyone knew she was unelectable from day one. It doesn't matter how much experience you have when you're the exact opposite of what everyone wants in office. This election was a populist wave and Hillary was the anti populist, a slimy, entrenched establishment career politician who moved specifically to run in a safe district, husband of a former president and laden with scandal for her entire life. To this day the stupidity and hubris of the Clinton campaign in this blunder astounds me. She literally handed her opponent a sword to cut her down with, and in her hubris could not even realize it. It was essentially the Rmoney "51%" moment of her campaign.

The pussy tape highlighted that they had absolutely nothing on Trump worthwhile. Hillary was getting hammered for her shady government deals, wikileaks, general personality problems, and multiple other things, and the biggest thing they had on Trump was that he enjoyed when gold-diggers would throw their bodies at him. That was it. A lot of people asked "So one candidate possibly committed treason while the other did what every Rockstar/celebrity goats about doing, oh gee I wonder which is worse for the country?"
