Then why is Fort Worth, TX, a conservative city that has been booming for a decade still successful? Our mayor proposed to lower our taxes by 1c because she says that a higher population will still bring in more revenue, and therefore the city shouldn't increase taxes whilst city revenue is already increasing. I know 1 cent is almost nothing, but supposedly we will see future tax drops.

tax cuts dont create jobs, they just make the rich richer and create stock market bubbles. creating jobs is actually hard work, and the rich are just as lazy as the rest of us, and their tax cuts will only go to their brokers for 'investment' into yet another speculation bubble, not jobs. it is the oldest con in the book.
