So apparently Evergreen College refuses to publicly share their Affirmative Action Plan. Their website states that it is "available to the public upon request". When requested, their "Affirmative Action & Equal Opportunity Officer" claims they will only make it available for viewing "in part" and ONLY in a room on their campus. No copies, no dissemination.
They even have a federal statute regarding exceptions to FOIA on the ready. The statute they cite is an exception for "personnel and medical files and similar files the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy".
Anyone curious what is in Evergreen College's Affirmative Action Plan that they feel so strongly about hiding?
As an aside, it's it adorable how they include their preferred pronouns in their email sig?

do they get federal funding?

Also call them i think they have to let you see it if it gets fed funding.
If they didn't receive federal funding, it would be rather odd for them to so quickly invoke a [totally non-applicable] FOIA exemption statute. That would only be applicable if their Affirmative Action Plan included private information on specific personnel. And hey, perhaps it does. And perhaps that would be a direct violation of equal opportunity employment regulations. Either way, it seems quite sketchy. They're certainly hiding some dirty laundry.
