I live in a relatively small (~20k people) mostly white Midwestern town. There is quite a bit of meth use with growing popularity recently, a lot of people I went to school with now use meth.
One of my best friends friends used to be a junkie doesn't like when you say people are a "lost cause" because they're recovered. Do you agree that some addicts are a lost cause? At what point? I don't hang with people who use drugs because they're sketchy and I don't want to be robbed but what is the solution here?
Also my friend believes that "making Methamphetamine legal and letting them die off" or whatever would make it worse, is he just on a muh feels trip? I'm glad my friend didn't die and he said that when it's readily available he would probably have never recovered and it makes it worse.

These people are cancer, dont red pill him because it will shatter his sobriety. Let him believe what he wants if it works for him but beign honest these people are trash and should be exterminated. One of ten doses of meth, heorin and crack should be poisoned and let these degenerates sort themselves out. Addicts are beyond saving, at least ones hooked on the worst drugs liek meth and heroine.

I don't see how it would help. They aren't going to die the next day, they'll be doing all the normal junkie shit for years. Then there will be more people getting into it since there are no legal consequences.
they're all worthless trash
Do what we did here in Canada and introduce fentanyl, and watch them drop like flys.
The media freaks out at a few hundred deaths because of it this year alone, but its all junkie deaths.
