The US is the most powerful country in the world, making waves with every step. Of course a politically-centered board will spend more time talking about it. You both know the president of my country and his actions could have a pretty big impact on you. I have no idea the leaders of your respective countries, and this doesn't matter because they will likely never influence my life in the slightest.
