I should also mention the Xanax problem. A very large portion of the xanax you find on the street was produced in a Chinese lab, which was indirectly funded by the CCP. They are literally trying to prime millennials for an opium war situation.

The western gubments seriously need to think this shit over. Culture is the main cause of use/abuse, not availability. You can literally huff benzene(gasoline) for <10 cents a hit and get amazing euphoria and go to dreamland. Nobody does it though. The only way to cut down on illegal substance use is to allow a "lesser evil". Most heroin users could just use a large amount of dihydrocodeine everyday and be completely functional people. A large amount of meth users could just get amphetamine prescriptions. A complete legalization might not be the answer, but a partial legalization of the "lesser evils" could easily cripple the recreational drug markets.

Again though, it's better the people who are prone to substance use/abuse use anything besides alcohol, benzos, and the other harmful options.

I'm a former pothead who wishes I never touched the stuff. They were the least productive years of my life. If you asked me during those times if I had a problem, I would have laughed it off, even though my life was essentially centered around getting "baked."

It sped up the process of time, and it dulls you emotionally. I look back and literally can't believe how little progression I made socially and career-wise. I was a zombie, who simply did the bare minimum to pass my classes, and cared about nothing but video games and television.

Being sober actually made me want to experience the world, go out and achieve things, and my emotions and senses are sharper.

I have tried smoking with friends a few times since then, and I haven't been able to enjoy it. Either it gives me panic attacks, and/or it makes me feel stupid. I just refuse the blunt when it's passed around and enjoy my beer instead. It's as if my brain and body reject it now.

I know morphine(a metabolite of heroin, heroin is 2-3x times more fat soluble and passes the BBB like it's nothing) is the most addictive opiate. It's produced endogenously and literally is responsible for most of the good feelings people get. All you have to do to switch from horse to another opiate(assuming you aren't one of those nodding degenerates) is lower your tolerance a bit and get used to the other substance.

Instead of shooting it like a degenerate, you would just take dihydrocodeine in a suppository. Dihydrocodeine is not codeine, there is no metabolic limit to it. I literally knew a bong who did tons of afhgan #3 and he just switched to taking 5 grams of dihydrocodeine a day. I smoke daily and have for more than half my life. I've had times where I've had big breaks too though, not cause I felt I needed to but just cause I felt like it. I went over a year and a few periods of 6 months or so with no smoking & I never have cravings or get rage or have any noticable side effects, other than the sweats.. I would sweat like CRAZY every night after I'd quit. Some times it'd be so bad my toes and fingers would be all soggy like I'd been in water, I'd wake up feeling wet & have to get towels to lay on my bed to continue sleeping that night. Times after that I put towels on the bed by default lol. Other than the obscene sweating in my sleep, I felt fine.

Even times I go on short holidays (usually cruises), I don't smoke & I don't feel any withdrawals at all.

I smoke around an oz a week on average and have for 10+ years. Imo it's not addictive. It's just enjoyable. Although I suppose some people could have the habit of smoking as being addictive as opposed to the cannabis itself being addictive ...if that makes sense

You don't, it solves itself. Tolerance develops and the sensation becomes less intense over time, experience allows the person to increasingly control the experience. This not only makes them more responsible but eventually flattens the intoxication into an essentially palliative and overall minor experience. If you try to smoke too much you just fall asleep. I don't see how anyone can "identify" as a stoner when the overwhelming part of being one only lasts a few years at most and I can't help but think of out of control stoners as being in their first few years of smoking. Either they have the self-control to not develop tolerance, in which case they're already not really a problem, or they're a couple years away from the ride being basically over.

I would focus on more important issues than a bunch of people who you're not going to have any productive engagement with anyway. This thread is more likely the product of someone trying to condition /pol/ into being so socially and morally strict it forces it further away from the newly developed right wing resistance and thus away from the millenial souls they wish to enthrall with their promises of free shit. I think what you would call "weed culture" needs to change. I don't see anything wrong with enjoying a joint every now and then if you keep it in moderation. At first, maybe the first month, the craving were definitely there, but amounted to nothing more than "damn I wish I had some weed". After about a month they subsided entirely. I'd be willing to bet I am more educated, successful and intelligent than 99% of the literal sub 100 IQ mongoloids here on /pol/. Ill grant that basically every self proclaimed "stoner" is a total failure, but marijuana has been used to high IQ people to great effect numerous times. Ultimately allthat matters is what youre born with. If youre low IQ and smoke weed, you will be especially dull. If you're high IQ and use it properly, you can experience real boosts in creativity and the desire to embrace more abstracts concepts. Many times I've had breakthroughs on difficult problems at university while high. However, I have never attended a university course while high, only done the homework. This is an example of having some level of control in your consumption.

Regardless, the extreme anti marijuana sentiment here on /pol/ is largely the reault of your right political lean and obsession with "tradition" which doesnt involve your grand pappy weed smoking, even though your ancestors likely grew hemp and used it for all sorts of things in their daily lives. Also, the average /pol/ user is literally an idiot with either average or below average IQ, so honestly its good that you all dont smoke. The average /pol/ user would become a useless low IQ loser.
