I used to be a person who thought the evils of WW2 existed primarily from Hitlers' actions and his followers, i stet those perceived actions as a baseline for human moral depravity. I was blissfully unaware of the extraneous reparations of WW1 on the German people ,the destitute economic situation of Germany, and the vile sexual life of Berlin in the 20's. That being said the Bolsheviks and their destructive war path threatening all of westernized society never crossed my mind. Those war crimes committed by Stalin never fully coming to light , in essence to validate the allies' cause.
I've come to the conclusion that Hitler was on the moral right side of history , not standing for the degenerate fall of his nation. Doing all he can to find Germans living in surrounding areas and bring them home, for the greater good of the German people. I now know that Hitlers main goal was to dissolve the insecurities of the German people from the 1919 treaty. HE told the German people to be proud to be German, and to accept nothing less than what their people deserve.
Hitler was not the villain that is portrayed in history books and Hollywood. He was a ww1 soilder who saw his fatherland fall from grace, and would restore its former glory.

It's been a somewhat difficult thing for me to accept in the last year or so, but in retrospect it make a lot of sense. Thinking back over my life I can recall even from a young age a few small discrepancies in the official narrative. A good place to start if you are trying to redpill someone else is a simple one:

It is generally accepted by most that ultimately Communism killed a lot more people last century. Considering we allied with the Soviets in WW2 and the result was Communist take-over of about half of Europe as well as the Communists spreading into Asia, it is easy for most people to accept that Communism proved to be a greater threat. From there you eventually have an in-road to show 'normie' that resisting communism is demonstrably and important, but ignored, aspect of Nazi Germany's aims in the war. You can back this up by pointing out that even General Patton thought we should have made peace with Germany and helped them push back the Soviets.
The grayness about WWII inevitably softens people opinion of WWII "Nazi" Germany.
From there you can point out how human lampshades and soap are known, even by Holocaust scholars, but to be urban legends.

exactly, one cannot logically rationalize why the Nazi's were a larger threat than the communistic soviets. All of Europe was terrified of the rise of communism, as seen after the Bolshevik rebellion when Mussolini came to power. Communism has always been the true enemy , and always will be
