Real live baby boomer here. Ask me anything about the "good old days"
Note: Boomers are not really one group. There are three distinct groups of boomers, based on their year of birth...
Version 1: 1946-1948 - continuation of greatest generation
Version 2: 1949-1957 - Hippy freaks and unwashed free-lover's
Version 3: 1958-1964 - Reagan Republicans, almost as conservative as our parents.
I am a version 3 boomer. Ask away.
In your opinion, are there any good qualities in this generation?
why did you destroy society?

By "this generation", I assume you mean the current crop of young people?
Yes, there are some good qualities, even though a vast majority are fuck ups...
They are realists. They don't think they can reinvent the world like the version 2 boomers did.
They (generally) don't delude themselves with dreams that the world is a nice place.
That is a quality that will serve them VERY well as they get older.

I'm V3, so I didn't. That was done by the V2 hippies.
They grew up with a childish unrealistic view of how the world works.
when they were protesting in their 20's, they talked about all the things they would do when they got into power. Sadly, once they did, they did.

But their destruction of society wasn't intentional. They honestly thought they were doing the right thing.
The problem is... their utopian version of the world can't exist. They're like the old communists who thought that once everyone started loving their neighbor, the world would suddenly fix itself.
So they had these wild crazy unrealistic dreams, and they still can't figure out why reality won't bend to their will.
