If you guys are actually interested in doing this, you pick an unincorporated town somewhere in the US. The Southeast is your best bet due to low prices of both property and items.

You develop the unincorporated area and then you can apply for incorporation (becoming a town/city), and then there you go. Or just remain unincorporated and do things the old fashioned way.

Also, by having it in the Southeast, you won't go astray of gun laws because we have none.

It got publicized to hell and back and the government stepped in. Also lots of disorganization within the griup

Conversely, if you guys can pull together a couple of million dollars or less, you can buy an entire island. Or just lay claim to Baker Island or one of the other uninhabited US islands and claim your building a colony then throw in a MAGA. Might get away with it for eight years.
