How will Canadians react when they realized how much debt he put on their shoulders?
In Greece, we had a guy like that of our own. He was elected in 1981 and led until his death in 1996.
He exploded the national debt, increased spending dramatically, massively raised wages and benefits and pensions, and put us under the slavery of perpetual debt.
He is fondly remembered as a socialist hero who introduced many modern, progressive reforms and "put money in people's pockets"
Even now, that we are a failed state in every sense of the way, many Greeks defend him.

I live on the east coast. It already is like a third world shithole.
How does Canada get away with this shit?
I don't think Canadians will care in all honesty, the UK Conservative party in the David Cameron era ran up more debt than all of the previous Prime Ministers combined. And they are meant to be the right-winged fiscally.
Debts mean nothing nowadays. Fiat money is a joke so just as well spend every dime we can to save a few refugees.
