That's why governments are so horribly inefficient, that's why all anti-market ideologies that ever fucking existed for the past 100 years never worked well. That's why out of the millions of farmlands around the world, there's not a single, not a single functional system of collectivist farming.

Of course, the only people trying to cross it, were trying to escape East Germany into free West Berlin.

North Korean border guards have been known to shoot and kill defectors and South Korean border guards, even after the border has been crossed - which is why you'll observe that the South Korean MPs stand behind cover.
