It is real and we must explore distant worlds.

How can the universe not be infinite in volume?

Space does exist. It's immeasurably large, and it makes us feel like tiny specks of dust in a great void. But we all get by within our own frame of reference. In our own perspectives, we are very important, and the things that happen within our sphere of existence are also important.
Everything outside of our tiny spot is irrelevant to us. There are interesting bits of knowledge to be gained, but unless it looks like it'll affect our little bubble we don't care that much.
Almost nobody goes around thinking of their life as an infinitesimal blip in the river of time. Nor do we think of ourselves as irrelevant little organisms on a tiny planet floating in an infinite cosmos.

Triple kek. We certainly could leave on a generational ship if we chose to. Will we ever reach a neighboring star? Not if GR is true...
I a'm a creationist that also believes in Space.
I do not feel irrelevant at all, humans are the most intelligent being discovered so far, before God, and once we deal with these Jews we will go on to great things beyond the skies.
