its not an independent counsel, its actually still controlled by the DOJ. it's more of a outside counsel that can has most of the powers an independent counsel would have except the DOJ can direct their investigation or end it however and whenever they see fit.

The SofS Clinton-Russia dealings are several degrees more serious than this RussiaGate. As Obama's only 2 FBI director Mueller and Comey have a lot to answer for. The FBI being in charge of foreign Russian infiltrations on US soil, Comey and Mueller should inform us how all those uranium transactions happened? Why was no one prosecuted? How does the Uranium One deal compare to what a given Trump staffer was accused of? Why is Manafort being investigated but not Podesta for something seemingly much more troubling?

How retarded. To say that Comey acted in a partisan manner (especially favoring democrats) is laughable. At this point Republicans are just terrified that Trump won't ever accomplish anything because his Russian ghosts will haunt him forever.
