Yeah, you know that ship that was hit by the freighter. It may not have been an "accident"?
According to "Reports"-
Fitzgerald was accidentally struck by a cargo ship. This bold faced lie could only be true if the crews of both ships simultaneously had an electronic failure resulting in radar and sonar malfunctions and the lookouts of both ship simultaneously went to sleep. The Navy cover story is simply not believable.

While the Navy's story is close to unbelievable, it doesn't really matter. If this is a cover story to hide something about secret black ops weapons use between the US and China, it's not like we (the public) are going to know the next scenes in this movie.
