In a nutshell: If the intended recipients of your truthful message – just like the denial-steeped woman intent on aborting her child – are not open to hearing it, they will feel compelled to do the same thing to you that they have tried to do to their own conscience. That is, to shut you up.

Thus we constantly encounter this bizarre projection, or role reversal, in lefties at war with reality. They become abusive while simultaneously claiming you are the abusive one. That’s why “protesters,” as the media call them – in reality, leftist revolutionary criminal thugs – attacked and vandalized businesses surrounding the Berkeley campus to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking there, reminiscent of Nazis during the infamous Kristallnacht (“night of broken glass”) rampage in 1938 Germany, while simultaneously accusing law-abiding Republican college students and their invited speaker of being “fascists.”

This, then, is why college leftists don’t feel threatened by any other viewpoint or ideology, however irrational or destructive. For someone who’s been seduced, intimidated or brainwashed into embracing a worldview wherein lies are seen as truth, and truth as lies, it is the truth alone that causes this peculiar and penetrating pain they just can’t handle.
