It is a trash spot in general. It is ruined, though I think all the tourists are to blame.

Chincoteague is the way to go for family beach trips. It is possibly the whitest vacation destination in the tri-state area.

Chincoteague is great but it's starting to turn into a tourist trap as well. I see more spics and less Mennonites every year. When the feds finally decide to stop rebuilding the beach parking lot, the island will start going downhill.

And I'm not just saying that because my family just lost a permanent campsite we had for over two decades at Maddox because the owners sold it to a corporation that wanted to turn the campground into a impersonal OC-style resort
